Average warmth.Good indirect light is the proper location - an east- or north-facing windowsill is ideal. Compost must be kept moist at all times and never allowed to dry out. Misting is necessary. Take semi-ripe stem cuttings in spring. Sow seed in containers in a cold frame in autumn or spring.

Aucuba is very slow to root in water and even slower, too slow to grow.

The leaf tips are turning brown and curling up. Why?
